The Outbound Kit

Draft: to be checked by a solicitor before launch.

Privacy policy

This page explains what happens to the details you give us when you ask for an AI online visibility report.

Who we are

The Outbound Kit [registered company name, number and registered office address]. Contact: info@theoutboundkit.com.

What we collect

Your website address (report), your business name, website and any words you give us (domain search), your email address only if you ask us to email your results, and any name, email or phone number you choose to leave when asking about an upgrade. We do not use cookies, analytics or tracking on this site.

What we do with it

We read the public text of your website's homepage and ask search questions about the kind of business it describes, to write your report. We show the report on the page. If you ask, we email it to you, and may reply once to ask if you would like help with the fixes it suggests. For Get your kit, we suggest web addresses for your outreach and check each one with public domain registries, spam blocklists and the Internet Archive; your email address is never sent to these. We never sell your details or add you to a mailing list.

Who helps us

Vercel (hosting this site), Google (its Gemini service reads your public homepage text and runs the live Google searches to write the report, and suggests domain names from your business name; we may use Anthropic instead), Resend (sends our emails) and, if switched on, Cloudflare (a check that you are a person, not a bot).

Our lawful basis

Legitimate interests: you asked for the report, and we need your details to make and send it.

How long we keep it

We keep a copy of each report and domain search, and your email if you gave it, in our email inbox for up to 12 months, then we delete them. Ask us and we will delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or object to us using them, by emailing info@theoutboundkit.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
